On a side note: As you can see, the gallery is “registered only” from now on. If you have an account, nothing has changed for you. Just log in and enjoy the gallery. If you don’t have an account, just register your desired name and wait until I activate your account. Sorry for being soo secure, but I got contacted by an agency at one of my other sites and to be honest, it’s pretty scary. Connelly: ‘My son broke my veganism’

Filed Under (News & Gossip) by admin on 12-11-2008

Jennifer Connelly blames her 11-year-old son Kai for turning her back onto meat - because the strict vegan crumbled when she was pregnant with him. The actress had successfully avoided animal products for many years until she conceived - with ex-partner David Dugan - and the cravings began. Connelly, who is now married to British actor Paul Bettany, tells Marie Claire magazine, “I’d been vegan for many years, and then all of a sudden, when I was pregnant with Kai, I wanted a turkey burger. That was the end of my being vegan.”

Jennifer in Marie Claire (December 2008)!

Jennifer’s featured in the December issue of Marie Claire. She sat down for a small interview and here’s a little summary:
Family photographs. “Right over my bed I’ve stuck on a black-and-white photo-booth strip of Paul, Kai, and Stelli, and another of Kai and Stelli with my dad.” (Connelly’s father passed away in September.)
Visiting Africa’s Kalahari Desert with her family. “We all walked away from each other and lay down on the sand. It’s crusty, like salt flats. We were just silent for a while.”
Home. “I became a mom before I became a wife. When I had kids, I felt I had a home like I’d never experienced before.” Want more? Click here!
Huge thanks to Lainy, Rebecca and Hanna for the head-up!
